A friend/co-worker referred Becka Automotive to me. I’ve always been pretty hesitant about mechanics as I’ve had the worst experience throughout the years, but Becka Automotive was a pleasant surprise!
I requested an appointment on their website and I received a text from Dan asking what it I wanted looked at and when I would like to come in.
Based on my work schedule I was able to drop my car off at 7 am and put my car keys in a slot they had by the door.
Dan texted me at 7:30 am to let me know he had the keys and that he would take a look at my car, which in itself brought me comfort since I wasn’t there in person.
Dan later called and we went over what needed to be done…not only was I surprised by the price, but they were able to have my car finished for me later that day.
My expectations were far exceeded by Dan and Becka Automotive, not just on the work they did on my car on a Friday morning/afternoon but also because the following Monday, Dan texted me to find out how things were running. I’ve never had any mechanic or auto shop call to check on my car!
I’m truly appreciative of the help and will definitely be coming back when the time comes.

We have been with Becka Automotive now for approximately 8+ years. Their service has ALWAYS been excellent and at a good price. It is hard to find an automotive business that excels in professionalism, honesty, friendly service, and continuous excellence all the way around. I would recommend Becka to anyone looking for an automotive service for their vehicle.

We were new to Chula Vista, and we needed an auto repair shop. A friend at work recommended Becka. Becka Automotive Repair Shop does quality repairs on all my vehicles.
The staff is kind and very thorough. Becka is just the right shop to diagnose “that funny noise” our vehicles make the longer we own them.
We call Dan when there is a serious repair or simply a need to ready the car for a vacation or business trip.

The top in professionalism!When my vehicles go in they have always thoroughly checked them out, carefully explained the diagnosis , give a fair estimate and, complete the job when they say. I never had a need to return any vehicle for warranty work. Once I brought them a truck that even the dealership couldn’t fix. Not only did they fix it and charge me way less than I expected, but the truck ran the best it had in years. These guys are on my Christmas card list!

In the past Becka repaired my 2000 Pontiac Firebird and the complete experience was excellent. This time they repaired my 1994 Ford Explorer and my experience was exactly the same. One day to identify and diagnose the problem and picked up my vehicle the next day. I would highly recommend Becka Automotive to anyone who is looking for an honest repair shop with excellent customer service.
